Deadly crash involving SUV and motorcycle under investigation in west Harris County, HCSO says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- One person has died in a crash in west Harris County on Monday, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

HCSO said the wreck, involving an SUV and motorcycle, happened at about 5:30 a.m. on Mason Road at Katy Briar Lane.

SkyEye flew over the active scene, showing the wrecked motorcycle. The intersection appeared to be shut down as deputies investigated.

The sheriff's office confirmed the fatality but did not say how the incident unfolded.

An investigation is ongoing.
